The ideal candidate will be responsible for the financial health of the organization. The
Financial manager should be able to create accurate data analysis and advise senior management on profit-maximizing ideas to ensure long term success and enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Must be someone who can provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff.
  • Must be someone who can give advice on financial investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take to strengthen their financial background.
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Must be someone who can develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
  • Must be someone who conducts reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Must liaise with auditors to ensure that the appropriate monitoring of the company’s finances is maintained.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a BSc or MA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related areas.
  • Must have a 5 or more years of experience as a Financial Manager
  • Must have a strong interpersonal, Commuinication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Must have a solid understanding of financial statistics and principles of accounting.
  • Must have a working knowledge or all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Must possess professional qualification such as a CFA, ACCA, ClMA, CA or similar qualification will be considered a plus.
